“P.I.E.R was the lead supplier of labour at our project, Glossop Road student accommodation within Cardiff. The job has a £8 million M&E value with a total build value of approx. £40m.
Ourselves and Pier worked closely with initial meetings to discuss the correct rates considering the duration and scope of the project. Once this was agreed Pier did not hesitate to start resourcing the appropriate labour for the difficult task ahead! As a company standard we require mandatory training prior to any form of employment and Pier took it upon themselves to make sure all their labour supplied was trained prior to attending site.

As the need grows across the industry for health & safety training we have grown to accommodate our clients’ and candidates’ needs.
We can assist in the delivery of over 50 ROSPA approved online courses, CSCS tests, IPAF training, PASMA training and certification. This works for both our candidates and our clients.
Candidates have a quick turnaround on registering for online courses or getting booked onto training days so they can be put into placements they were previously unqualified for.
We pay the costs upfront and deduct agreed instalments from their weekly wage so the course costs can be spread out.
For clients our service ensures that the workers we are supplying, or already on site, have site cards and certification that are current and meet site-specific requirements.
We offer a renewal service for CSCS and Skills cards so we send reminders to our workers when cards are due to expire and can assist with application so clients can be assured that workers are up to date at all phases of a project.
