We have recently delivered a large student accommodation scheme in Cardiff with a very tight construction programme, which required high level of skilled M&E resource on a complex sequence of work. P.I.E.R were able to support our needs throughout the period of construction by working collaboratively with us prior to commencement on site. We were able to sit down and discuss our initial resource needs, working time scales, labour expectations and payment fees to establish a mutual understanding going forward for the period of the scheme. We were pleased with the outcome overall and Pier were found to be adaptable and flexible at stages that were of high strategic importance to the scheme. They also encouraged a feeling of togetherness for their employees, which was demonstrated several times, one example of which was Pier management calling to site and providing all of their operatives with Easter Eggs as a small gesture of their efforts.
The paperwork information and record keeping was also very good and the quality of operatives in most parts was above average, which reflects in our working ethos and ultimately aided the delivery of a quality project.
